Kim Hudelson

Hello!  My name is Kim Hudelson.  I am originally from Indiana, born, raised, and started my adult life there.  While in Indiana I gained work experience as a lab technician and transitioned into full time ministry.  While in full time ministry I gained administrative experience and was involved in Church Planting.  Our mission field was the town we lived in, and we worked alongside other churches while working with people in addiction and those struggling with poverty.

My husband, Jeremy, and I were introduced to Good Works around 2016.  We loved being around like-minded people and waited for an opportunity to open up so we could learn more from the Good Works community.  We were both able to join staff at Good Works during uncertain times in the summer of 2020.

I thrived in my role as Community Life Coordinator and am still overseeing the many guests we host on the Good Works Luhrig Road Property.  I have also transitioned into overseeing the Operations side of the ministry.  I am loving getting to connect with our Work Retreats, and volunteers as we set up weeklong, weekend, or Saturday visits with us.  I am also enjoying working more closely with the Hannah House team and helping coordinate projects and maintenance needs.

I am looking forward to learning and growing in my new roles.  I love that I am able to walk alongside our groups and volunteers in their experiences at Good Works.

I recently lead a group in a devotional on Philippians 2:1-4.  Verses 3 and 4, 3-Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.  Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4-not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.  These verses help me to keep perspective of what we do day to day and why we do it.
