We are celebrating 43 years and we are more aware each day that the ministry God has trusted us with is empowered and infused by many different layers of trust-filled relationships that form the community of HOPE.

There is the tightly knit full-time staff, and there are almost 1,000 volunteers who weave in to form a supportive network of relationships. There are the recipients who have experienced life-changing transformation and are living their lives differently as a result of their involvement with our community. Many individuals and families, along with community groups and local congregations come alongside and form layers and strands. And woven in, among, and through are the many people who give materially and financially.

Deep attachments and practical hope, along with emotional and spiritual support mark our relationships, which are expressed in settings like Friday Night Life, Neighbors Helping Neighbors, The Transformation Station, and The Timothy House. Our commitment to compassion—making the widow’s heart sing, taking up the case of the stranger, and being a father to the fatherless—remains strong (Job 29:12-16).

Our strength as a community comes from these generous partnerships. There is very little we could do on our own. By giving, you become an active participant in our work.

As a community, we have spent four+ decades helping and building relationships of trust with people in poverty, meeting their needs, offering tangible HOPE, and nurturing their future. As Good Works celebrates year #43,  we are all growing in our commitment to cultivating integrity, good communication, and trust as core values. These qualities, along with our faith as followers of Jesus are the good soil that allows us to bear fruit.

If you know of our integrity, recognize and appreciate our efforts at good communication, trust us, and believe in our mission, would you partner with us  and encourage others to partner with us too?
