Safety Practices During COVID-19
Good Works is a Community of Hope creating connections between people. COVID-19 has created many challenges for facilitating these connections. In order for us to continue in this work and keep people safe, we are asking for the following practices to be observed:
- If you are sick, please do not come to volunteer. It is ok to cancel your group because of illness. Just call us at 740-594-3336 to let us know.
- If you believe you have been in contact with someone infected by COVID-19, please do not come to volunteer. It is ok to cancel.
- When you arrive, we will take your temperature and ask you to wash your hands.
- Masks are required at all times. Please step away from the group if you need to remove your mask. If you do not have a mask, we will provide you with one.
- We require masks when riding together in vehicles and when you are with our elderly neighbors who are particularly vulnerable to the virus.
- Please wear a mask while working, and try to observe physical distancing.
- Group gathering times – arrival orientation, lunch, final debrief – will be outside and spread apart.
- We are primarily doing outside projects for Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
- Inside projects on Good Works projects will be limited to 2-3 people. Masks masks are required.
